Anonymously Yours

What do I think of people who post comments "anonymously"? Well the first things I think is "Coward". Seriously, if you feel you have to say something then stand up and say it, don't hide behind "anonymous" and leave rude, or stupid comments. Why do I say they are stupid? Well if you believed in what you said then why hide?

I did not receive a nasty comment, just someone who felt I was not "HaPpY" enough for them. Yeah they left a comment saying "Can't you say anything happy?"
I would say yes, I can, when it happens and I am ready I will. Why does it matter to you? You aren't being held for ransom, you do not have to stay, read, and you most certainly do not have to comment. Seriously, who's blog is this anyway?  If you bothered to read past the post that offended you you might have seen that I don't play that way.

I have been to plenty of blogs, yeah the sugary-sweet ones are nice, but really is this a requirement for blogging now? Has the political correct-ness police found out? Gosh forbid someone out there is not "happy" 24 - 7.  I have found some blog's that are a bit more honest and will dare to say they have had a bad time of it. Even fewer are the ones that allow themselves to see and speak their truth.  They do not apologize for being upset or mad, they do not "pretend" for the benefit of the person who comes by to peak in at their life. I like most of these blogs. They come across more genuine at times. The don't make me feel like I have to put on my "happy face" all the time either, because the truth is not everyone is happy all the time.
I am not offensive, I don't hurt anyone and darn it where is it written I have to act a certain way for you? One blog I love in particular is http://www.mykidsmightbemartians.com/.

I never portrayed or promoted myself as the "Disney Channel" for blogger's. There will be good days, and there will be days I just let it all out.  If you are having a rough time and are looking for the singing birds, bunnies, puppy-dog tails and rosy colored view of the world, well I have to warn you, it won't always be here.

Once on a radio show a woman called in all irate over the fact that cable had "accidentally" given her the playboy channel. She, and I quote here,  "Was forced to watch for three hours before they stopped". Like the radio host, I laughed hysterically, "Forced?", she was "Forced?" really was the cable guy there with a gun to her head making her stay on that channel and watch? All this woman had to do was change the channel, and for those that find reading my blog not Happy enough, .......well?

Not More Random Whining

I am not whining so much today, because so far it's been okay. My income taxes are done and thank goodness we do not have to pay in. That done I rewarded myself with an afternoon movie. I do not go often, and I had a coupon. So I went to see "The Watchmen". I have not read the book so I went clueless.
It was a very long movie (do not drink anything, and empty your bladder folks or like me you will race to the bathroom as the end credits start, praying and dancing). The graphics were great, but then they have it down pat now don't they? It was a darker hero film, violent and either I have desensitized to foul language, or there wasn't much of it in this film. Some nudity (not long and I didn't think gratuitous, but frankly I really do not think any is necessary).

Sort of a sad ending and one that I would not have expected, but a little more honest than many superhero films. I did like it, and a film that benefits from being seen on the big screen. Yeah, I would see it again, but first I want to read the book.

I have started wandering around to other blogs and found a few I like. I am fascinated with the sites with the creepy/cute dolls right now. While I do not think I would like a houseful of them, I think the workmanship of their creators is truly wonderful. I have always been enamored with the Halloween imagery and the dark humor of it all.

So today I just took time to look around and enjoy. Although dark and dreary out (looks like rain), it cheered me up and made me smile. There are some neat sites out there aren't there?

Crappy Day One

Okay this blog is going to be devoted to me. Why? Well I am my own cheering squad. I have to be, no one else wants to join. Seriously, I am one of those people that gets passed by for everything. I am the one who initiates, I do the work, and some ninny comes along and gets the credit. So to those who stumble upon this blog (and you know who you are) feel free to lift items, quotes, the shirt of my back. (Just because I am one of those people who feel they have to thank people and give them some credit, doesn't mean you have to) Then go to your blog and post it as though you didn't find it here first. Don't worry about mentioning my name, thanking me, or even leaving a comment, because it isn't like anyone is going to remember me anyway.
So I will come here when I want to vent about the times people ignore and walk over me. I expect it, and am learning to embrace myself, ( lord knows I have to, it's cold out here).
